XCMG European Research Center GmbH, Krefeld
The XCMG European Research Center is located in Krefeld. The new center has been founded in April 2013, with its goal to develop innovative and efficient machines for the construction, mining and energy industry. For this purpose the capabilities of the facility are reaching from modern simulation technologies, over component test rigs to outside test sites for real environment testing of the entire machines.

Coo-Trois-Ponts Hydroelectric Power Station is situated in Trois-Ponts, Province of Liege, Belgium. It is a pumped-storage hydroelectric power station which is located next to the Amblève River which provides its water to the power station to convert electric energy into storable potential energy and the other way around. With its installed capacity of 1,164 MW it is among the top ten most powerful pump-storages in Europe.
